During January 2016, IPMA has performed works related to geotechnical study for a photovoltaic solar plant in Shirakawa, Fukushima prefecture (Japan). In order to get it, our team designed a field-work campaign based on:
- Geological and Geomorphological context.
- Hydrogeology.
- Geological Cartography.
- Geotechnical characteristics of the terrain.
- Foundations recommendations.
- Geophysical prospecting by electrical and electromagnetic methods.
