During November 2014, IPMA has performed works related to geotechnical study for a photovoltaic solar plant and electrical substation in Yamaguchi (Japan) for CANADIAN SOLAR. In order to get it, our team designed a field-work campaign based on: Geological and Geomorphological context Hydrogeology Geological Cartography Geotechnical characteristics of the terrain Foundations recommendations.

During July 2014, IPMA has performed a geotechnical study of a photovoltaic solar plant for MAETEL JAPAN in Fukuroda, which consisted in performing a geotechnical campaign for the construction.
