During January and February 2015 IPMA has performed Ramming Pole Test for PROGETTI INTERNATIONAL – ENEL in order to evaluate the viability of ramming foundation for the project of photovoltaic solar plant “Carrera Pinto” near of Copiapó, in Atacama dessert.
The works consisted in ramming profiles with similar characteristics to those which will be used in the future for the panels construction. The profiles has been tested with the next test:
- Pulling out test.
- Horizontal pressure test.
